I first saw those a couple years ago. Theres a lot more, just incredible. They are from a lake in middle Europe, I think Switzerland? There was a wind storm, and very cold temps. All the water blown off the lake froze on land as you see. Very cool pics.

Hmm, that's strange. I've always been given the understanding that this happened a couple of years ago right here in Canada, back east in Newfoundland...?!

And it's virtually impossible to tell by the license plates...

they are euro plates, if you zoom in (option scroll in for mac's) you can see the hint of a europlate on the first picture

Wow, those ice storm pics are crazy. I'd assume the owners had a little trouble getting back into their vehicles. And that is the biggest sucker fish I've ever seen. BTW that sticker isn't technically correct German, looks like somebody used an on-line translator to make that sticker.
