Blakeoffire's pictures | Best brand/vendor for E24 ECU chip upgrade...? Gentlemen, I'm sourcing a chip upgrade for my '89 Euro 635CSi and the running concensus seems to be that the Jim Conforti chip is the way to go...(?). I've noticed a handful of online vendors that carry them (Bimmerworld, etc.) but I was just wondering if any of you might have any recommendations or any alternatives to consider. Any info on chip upgrades in general and where might be the best company to purchase them from would be greatly appreciated....! Thanks, Blake |

| Senior Member Supporting Member | I'd give (the actual) Mark D a call and see what he can do for you... he's Canadian, the USA guys all think he's god, and I know he has run a few chips for odd engines.. like the Euro hi-compression M30. Worst thing that can happen is that your long distance bill will go up. |

Do you have any contact or website info? B. *EDIT* Never mind...brain lapse.... it's on the Abrahamsmotorsport site...-Hmmm....just checked out Mark D's site. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that he has anything available for my particular E24 coded ECU. I'll have to call him tomorrow and find out. Last edited by Blakeoffire; 12-03-2006 at 10:44 PM.. | |
