I started this POST (not arguement) on a good note and it was going nicely until you joined in. YOU are the one that brought it down. Dont blame others for that and dont pretend to take the moral high ground now.

Let me quote you again "I’ll be honest with you I am not sure about locally optioned cars" so you admitting that you were trying to tell us all something that you know nothing about??? And you have the nerve to call me the faker!!
I am not going to dignify the other brainless comments, also again just wanted to end your endless arguments, because as you said “Too bad it is the idiots of the world that speak the loudest!!” I gave you all the reason as why your car dose not conceder an M and you are keep babbling about the same thing. I am trying to educate you that if you go to any other forum you would not get laugh at.

As you see some people here, clearly demonstrated, that have no clue and they just carry on with the BS talk, but I tell it like it is, you may like it and you may not, but is true.

If you really wanted to end the argument, then don’t reply!! You have not shown anyone that I don’t have a genuine M car at all. The only thing you have shown is that you think you know more then you actually do.

M528i

Alpina Man,

What makes a true M car
Let me see lets look at most likely the most renowned BMW Motorsport vehicle the M1
Body designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and Italian
Chassis designed & manufactured by Automobili Lamborghini S.P.A an Italian company

The above comissioned by BMW to build and design the great M1

Why can't you accept that Frank Gardner who was running the BMW motorsport works team put together a very nicely packaged 5 series

Mate these are signed off Motorsport cars for us Australians so to me and maybe others they are very special.

Do your research on Gardner he also prepared & built 15 special E36 M3R's for the BMW Motorsport team downunder to race in the super production series

In the end we don't care if the vin don't come up as a M all over the world all we care about is the end product.

M528i
Motorsport Badges
Motorsport racing Stripes
Sports rear spoiler
Sports front spoiler
Mine has the older Factory M recaros
Bilstein Sports Suspension (most likely same as M535i)
Different steering wheel to other 5 series
ABS brakes (rare on older 5 series)

I did not put anthing on this car myself it was prepared by an x employee of BMW Motorsport Australian wing who raced in Formula 1, Le mans etc

Gardner Also prepared the famous 635 csi JPS to win the Bathurst Championship and the JPS E30 M3's and a million other things.

To me anyway these are more special than say an M535i becuase the Frank Gardner was a special man.

My own car i value and love dearly, i can buy and drive nearly within reason anything i wan't but i just love the e28 especially in the Motorsport Colors

Frank Gardner
May he R.I.P
