| Senior Member | E28 thumping in rear, ticking on shifter update. Thanx to all for the tips which were bang on. The flex disc, was installed incorrectly about 50000k ago. It was breaking down and rubbing the shifter. The thumping was the rear subframe mounts. Nixon's took care of my ol relic with very capable hands, Im gonna go there for everything i wont do myself. Thanks again to all, it feels great now, ssk is finally crisp and all is tight again. Nathan |
