318is E36 rear control arm fail. Auto-camber mode (on)

HI folks new to the board.

I've posted this around a bit no answers from anyone so hope that I can get some here.

I have no idea how this happened I just remembered that I was driving home and I went over some rail road tracks and i herd some scraping and metal on metal noises. I thought it was the brakes but the sounds got worse and worse. I pulled over and took out the emergency jack to lift the car and went under to see what the crap was going on...

Any help on what that bushing is called and how much it is to replace. I know the Rear Control arm is Fubar'd (Some call it Trailing Arm???) I could get one from the wreckers or maybe Ebay's Aluminum adjustable ones for cheaper.

Help? Thanks a mil

John

There are a few sites that you can get the parts from, like pelican or tons of others.

I like to start with this site RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog
Then you can browse the part pictures to find out what you need. Here is a drawing of your rear end.

Get the VIN off your car and then you know you are looking for the right parts.

Once you know what you need, shop around, try to use BMW parts, the quality of some of the e bay parts can be weak some times.

Good luck !
