value of 1986 325e

hi there,

my mint condition 1986 325e with 71,000 miles (117,000 kms) was just written off after getting rear ended by an suv.

the insurance company (icbc) want to pay me $2,800 for it! i think this is too low.

any idea whether this is a fair evaluation. i'm not sure how anyone can just put a value on a car like that without examples as i cannot find a similar age car with such low mileage on the internet.

thanks for you help.

$ 2800 for a 86 325e, that is better then I thought they would have given you for this year of car. Sadly, it will not replace the car you had, but when compared to the selling price of many 325e's that age, it is a decent offer.

Does suck, sorry you lost your ride man.
