Argh! Coin-Op car wash in Vancouver?

For years and years I've been going to the Esso coin-op car wash at 3rd and Chesterfield in North Vancouver. I love it because it's well-maintained, it stays open until 10pm, and it's only about 20 minutes away from me. Perfect for a downtown dweller with no place to wash his beloved BMW.

I went by tonight and, to my shock and dismay, the whole station has been permanently closed and fenced off. Argh!! This is the ONLY one that I'm aware of anywhere near downtown. Does anyone know of another do-it-yourself coin-op that isn't out in the suburbs? The nearest one that I know of is way out on Hastings in Burnaby--a 40 minute drive both ways.

Help appreciated.

That sucks about the Esso. Gas was always expensive at the location but the car was great. Are your sure it's gone for good?
