New control arms

Hi, just installed new control arms and bushings. Took the car for a drive and the steering was really stiff! Is this normal till the ball joints loosen up a bit?

Anyone else done this?
Thx, Chris.

My steering was a bit stiff, but I would not call it really stiff...... It only took a day or so for it to improve.

Car handles nice now I Bet

Feels good, after reading some more about this I believe that my steering alinement needs adjustment. Then it should feel really good!

Ok, so you cant get an alinement done until things like a blown rear wheel bearing gets fixed. I also have outer tie rods coming in the mail. Then I can get the four wheel computerized alinement done. Didnt realize how bad the noise was in the car until I had the bearing done, wow what a difference.

I guess with 396,000kms on the car a few things are wearing out.
