convertible top

This is a discussion on convertible top within the 3-Series forums, part of the BMW Discussion Forums category; so my top got cut last night by someone so they could steal im ipod.... is there anyway of repairing ...

convertible top

so my top got cut last night by someone so they could steal im ipod.... is there anyway of repairing these tops or is it better to get a new one?

It can be repaired, Any tent/awning place, sail maker, or canvass guy can fix it. The top will have to come off the car though.

Will look a bit fugley

yeah, no thank you. im just gunna get a new one and attempt to put in on myself, i called a dealership, oem tops are 2200 bucks! third party here i come...

yeah i checked those today, like 350 max which is sweet. as soon as i get this taken care off im thinking of selling the 325ic for a hardtop model. i dont want to deal with this again.

New Soft Top

Hi

I had one installed over here in England for £500.00 GBP supplied and fitted, so 'after market' suppliers should not be too bad! (he travelled 140 miles to fit)

sorry a bit late but still before a wet winter,
you can have a tan top for $900 (+post if needed)
It is from a 1991 cabrio...

Hardtop

Hi North Van
Thanks for the offer I have managed to source one over here, black OEM cost £900.00 GBP though, ouch! Still should be ok for winter now thanks again.
