BMW 325i Bulb control unit

I have a 325i 1991 and the other day it melted the r/h tail light fuse. fuse did not blow. Had 7.5 amp fuse. Replaced fuse and all the other lights work apart from the tail light. The light clust is fine it checks out and works. Got no power form the bulb control unit. This is by looking at the electrical diagram. Wher do I find the control unit ?

Bulb control unit

Found the unit inside the boot above the L/H fender. The uinte has a burnt track on the PC board. Trie to repair it. The tail light works butthe resitance is now incorrect and warning light comes on as well.
Answer as to how I by passed the systen was to feed power throught my trialer plug with the fuse removed for the tail lights.
