| newbie | They are both reliable engines, I have both with 260,000 miles on the 318i and 325,000 miles on the 325, but I must say that if you will work on your car yourself, the 325i engine is much simpler, the 318i was nicknamed the baby M3, that engine is quite more advanced and a bit more costly to maintain (ignition coils, O2 sensor and other sensors, ..).. |
