| newbie | Motor Swap Info Wanted 318is -> 325 I came across a 325 motor, 5spd trans, wiring, ecu etc. from a kinda local guy. I can get the parts for pretty cheap but was wondering if anyone here has tackled that or knows anything about what all is needed to be done for that swap... I think the last person i asked that question told me to buy a 325 but im kinda partial to my car its clean and ive already put money into general upgrades on it.. | So you would be swapping the motors in a E36?, if so i think that very few people on this board would be able to help, if it was an E30 swap that would be a different story, Would you be going from auto to standard to? also, something you may want to consider is just saving more money and doing an S5X swap ive heard that people going from 318 to 325 are often disapointed for the power they get compared to the money they spent either way good luck Tim |
