E30 brake rotors and pads

Whats everyone using these days? Just need a good set of stock replacement pads and rotors for the silver car to add to my Pelican/BMA order.

Last summer I did a massive BMA order including pads and rotors. I went with Ate pads front and rear. I was not happy with these pads as they were super dusty. The pads I took out were stock BMW pads with 80% left (from when I bought the car). I thought I was doing an upgrade but that wasn't the case :-(

As for rotors, I went with ate powerdisk (now called premium) up front and standard Ate in the rear. No issues with the rotors.

This question should become part of a FAQ, I've seen it come up a few times here.

I'd go with stock blank rotors. The slots/holes/etc. do nothing to help braking.

For pads, I've heard the OEM Textars are very good. I'm using PBR Ceramics on front, and they're fine, but don't feel like much of an improvement over the OEM pads I had before. I'll use Textars next time around. My car is my dd with an occasional autocross thrown in.

If you're going to track the car occasionally, Hawk pads (HP+ ???) seem like a good compromise of a track/street pad.
