318is Engine turns over but won't start

I tried to start 318is this afternoon...it started firing and then it sputtered, then just went dead. I went to try and start the car again, and when I turned the key over just before starting. I noticed I did not hear my fuel pump. I lifted my back seat to get at the top of my fuel tank, and I found I had no power going to my fuel tank. But I had power to my fuel level sensor. I'm thinking that it is one of my fuses in my fuse box that has no power.
If anyone has any input or suggestions on what could be wrong, help!?

or maybe it just sputtered and died. if power is being sent to the unit, but its not running, new fuel pump time.

Power to your fuel pump is only a split second when you first turn the key to on to prime the fuel rail. You need to pull the key out, and cycle it again to get that one second blip to happen again. With the Key ON and the car off, you will NOT have 12V there.

Have you tried checking voltage at the pump while cranking? 12V should be present at this time.
