Question Help! Need factory weight of 1982 BMW 320i?

Hello!

I have an 82 320i that needs new springs and shocks. I want to get high performance springs and shocks for it, but in order to do that I need to know the car's factory weight. I don't have the car's manual. It's the 5 speed.

Can someone help out? The web came up dry for me.

Thanks!

Dave

Stick your car onto the truck sale south of the Port Mann Bridge. Add or subtract weight of fuel (+/- 40lbs or so) to get your weight

Remeber to do it at quiet hours so you don't get dump trucks all up on your back end. And don't forget to get out of the car when taking readings

Why not just order a set of Bilstein Sports with H&R springs, and be done with it?

Hey, great advice!

Thanks!

I didn't know about H&R. I'm new to BMW's. I was driving Swedish Bricks...

What a nicely done site!

Got a recommendation for a good place to buy the Bilsteins?

Dave
