Thanks guys, yes there is some work to do on her...... But the paint and the general condition is awesome! I hope that she and I can spend some quality time together over the Christmas holidays.

blackice... did you sell yours to a nz guy? there was a post on CL about 2 months ago with one that looked just like yours. his didnt have the painted head gaskets nor the s/r visor, but the interior was the same, and his had an LSD too. his asking price was also similar. he posted it for $2200.

i met up with him in burnaby and checked it out. i was contemplating making him an offer on the spot... and while i was searching for an excuse to walk away... he mentioned a few hours earlier that morning, he dropped it to $1650!

i cant do it cause im too deep in my eta project but im still having nightmares 'bout letting that go. was that yours?

Im pretty sure a guy that works at Lordco on Kingsway picked it up, it looks very similar and it just might be the same car. It was sitting for a while on Joffrey. I even drove by one day and stuck a note under the windshield wipers saying i want to buy it. But never got a call back. Next thing i know a buddy of mine that also works at Lordco said that hes friend picked up this e30 for $1500, the seller was moving away or something.

Hey Kungfucious, Sorry I must have missed this one the first time around.

No, I still have Blackie, I am in the process of fixin' her up and getting her ready for the road. The plan is to take all the parts off of my 318i and put them on the 318is ( Blackie ).

Today, I put the intake together, and finished up the heater plate delete. Tomorrow, with any luck, I will change the fuel pump, fill with fluids, and take her for a test drive.

Tell me about your ETA project, What plans do you have ?
